This is a lovely, realistic Beagle dog statue. He is sitting down, facing to his right with his tail curled around behind him. The artist has paid particular attention to the detail of the Beagle's head, with a slightly furrowed brow, slight folding of the ear flaps and realistic detailing of the nose and mouth. The artist has given this piece just the right amount of texturing to the coat which continues down to the tips of the toes and tail. This dog statue would make a perfect ornament for the home or garden of any Beagle enthusiast and would make an ideal grave marker or dog memorial for a treasured pet. The manufacturers copyright mark (HGC) and artists initials (SR) can be found on the base.
