The Girl Reading garden ornament features a young Victorian girl sitting on a cushion, an open book on her lap. The book bears letters of the alphabet. She has ringlets in her hair and she is wearing a dress which is loosely falling from her right shoulder. Her left hand is raised upwards, holding her hair back from her face, and she is wearing a cross on a necklace around her neck. The cushion is decorated with a pattern, and the whole piece sits on a plinth, also patterned. This is a delightful Victorian-style piece by Dragonstone which has an antique-effect finish. This garden ornament measures 30cm in height and weighs 3kg.
